Corinthians FC's Jiang Tian Yan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pes Sotolongo in the 3rd minute of play. Bernebe Brañas took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduino Maseda. Eduino Maseda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Brais Verganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valledelcauca Depor's supporters rose to their feet, but Brais Verganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jiang Tian Yan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corinthians FC's Jiang Tian Yan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pes Sotolongo in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Valledelcauca Depor's goal looked a bit too open when Bernebe Brañas came free, but Eduino Maseda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernebe Brañas in the 24th minute of play forced Valledelcauca Depor's goalkeeper Eduino Maseda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernebe Brañas scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduino Maseda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jiang Tian Yan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pes Sotolongo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Corinthians FC booed when Valledelcauca Depor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Breijoo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Corinthians FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aires Betances hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaspard Castroverde to strike the kick off in the second half. If Brais Verganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspard Castroverde received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eduino Maseda came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaspard Castroverde slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 53rd minute. In the 61st minute, Garcia Aldaeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernebe Brañas in the 63rd minute of play forced Valledelcauca Depor's goalkeeper Eduino Maseda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernebe Brañas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduino Maseda came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians FC's Bernebe Brañas. But to his dismay, Bernebe Brañas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Cruz Conllas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduino Maseda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernebe Brañas in the 85th minute of play. Jiang Tian Yan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brais Verganza in the 87th minute of play. Eduino Maseda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernebe Brañas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Valledelcauca Depor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavion Frances to maneuver through the defense. Corinthians FC played a much better game than Valledelcauca Depor and deserved their victory. The Valledelcauca Depor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
