Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Loreto Moracia made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 2 minutes, Eduino Benitua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortadera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduino Benitua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute Loreto Moracia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elija Riesgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Marciano Rodero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Mariategui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iban Casados in the 27th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, one of Chuanco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Camilo Mariategui had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Leopoldo Maluenda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eduino Benitua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Lazaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Iban Casados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chuanco FC's Camilo Mariategui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iban Casados in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Rodero in the 49th minute of play forced Cortadera's goalkeeper Elija Riesgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the match, Cortadera's goal looked a bit too open when Loreto Moracia came free, but Elija Riesgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduino Benitua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Narciso Lazaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Mariategui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iban Casados, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eduino Benitua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduino Benitua struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Camilo Mariategui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cortadera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Rodero in the 74th minute of play forced Cortadera's goalkeeper Elija Riesgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Cortadera's goalkeeper Elija Riesgo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Lazaro. 78 minutes into the game, Loreto Moracia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chuanco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortadera the free kick. In the 78th minute, Loreto Moracia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Lazaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elija Riesgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Loreto Moracia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cortadera fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chuanco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
