An unexpectedly hard shot by Frances Roches in the 7th minute of play forced Corinthians FC's goalkeeper Jiang Tian Yan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corinthians FC's Bernebe Brañas got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspard Castroverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jiang Tian Yan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frances Roches in the 18th minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Bernebe Brañas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bernebe Brañas took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osmundo Barrio. Osmundo Barrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspard Castroverde in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osmundo Barrio saved Barranca from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Urre Boñal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspard Castroverde hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's Gaspard Castroverde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osmundo Barrio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Gaspard Castroverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmundo Barrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juanito Parayos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jiang Tian Yan made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juanito Parayos got free with Jiang Tian Yan in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernebe Brañas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Osmundo Barrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frances Roches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osmundo Barrio was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Xoan Boiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xoan Boiro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Barranca were furious when Erasto Villamayor was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Barranca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corinthians FC:s goal. Gaspard Castroverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Osmundo Barrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barranca's Osmundo Barrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernebe Brañas in the 69th minute of play. Barranca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronaldinho Melendo in the 83rd minute. After taking down the ball on Barranca's corner Ronaldinho Melendo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jiang Tian Yan quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Osmundo Barrio managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Corinthians FC's Gaspard Castroverde fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 89th minute, Juanito Parayos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jiang Tian Yan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernebe Brañas in the 96th minute of play forced Barranca's goalkeeper Osmundo Barrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiang Tian Yan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urre Boñal in the 100th minute of play.
