The referee ignored París Saint Germán Fc's protests and gave Lore Riesgo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, París Saint Germán Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lore Riesgo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Barranca getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Juanito Parayos hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, París Saint Germán Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Senderos to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Frances Roches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Txilar Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juanito Parayos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Barranca's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Juanito Parayos struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Txilar Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barranca. 18 minutes into the game, Paulo Felpeto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barranca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave París Saint Germán Fc the free kick. A collision led to Barranca getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Paulo Felpeto hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Maura Ameztoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, París Saint Germán Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Senderos to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in París Saint Germán Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Sadurni Millon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Osmundo Barrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Barranca getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Guifre Huidobro hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Maura Ameztoy made the kick off in the second half. Txilar Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frances Roches, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Juanito Parayos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Txilar Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Amador Leon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frances Roches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txilar Camargo having to interfere. After 67 minutes of play, Barranca's Frances Roches made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Txilar Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Txilar Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frances Roches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, one of París Saint Germán Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for París Saint Germán Fc. In the 75th minute, Ronaldinho Melendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Txilar Camargo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Frances Roches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frances Roches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Fabio Villasinda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. París Saint Germán Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Villasinda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Lore Riesgo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Osmundo Barrio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Barranca's zone, Sadurni Millon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmundo Barrio came out of the goal and Sadurni Millon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barranca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
