Spectators: 6835 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frances Roches took the kick off in the first half of the match. Panfilo Rabelo struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Osmundo Barrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A Serafina Rebirth. Panfilo Rabelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmundo Barrio having to interfere. Frances Roches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Silbestre Oñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chayo Mercadillo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Silbestre Oñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frances Roches, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Urre Boñal fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barranca's protests and gave Urre Boñal a yellow card for diving instead. Osmundo Barrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Ludueña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes Barranca got a freekick which was hit by Roger Sodupe. If Panfilo Rabelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Barranca's goal looked a bit too open when Panfilo Rabelo came free, but Osmundo Barrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barranca's Osmundo Barrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlan Moracia in the 34th minute of play. Alessandro Ludueña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Osmundo Barrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessandro Ludueña in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osmundo Barrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frances Roches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silbestre Oñez having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panfilo Rabelo was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Panfilo Rabelo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osmundo Barrio. That made the score 0-1 in the 52 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Panfilo Rabelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Serafina Rebirth's supporters rose to their feet, but Panfilo Rabelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osmundo Barrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barranca's Osmundo Barrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Barranca from getting a goal against them. Nofre Heso hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Panfilo Rabelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osmundo Barrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panfilo Rabelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Alessandro Ludueñas short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Osmundo Barrio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Panfilo Rabelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Orlan Moracia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A Serafina Rebirth and the Barranca players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.A Serafina Rebirth getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Orlan Moracia hit a great ball. Alessandro Ludueña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute.
