Lourenco Ricaredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elija Riesgo having to make a save. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Iban Casados sped through Lions's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilmar Villornate. 26 minutes into the game, Erroman Giral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortadera the free kick. In the 26th minute, Erroman Giral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilmar Villornate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iban Casados in the 33rd minute of the match. Gartzea Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Ferrer Piega notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Lions's Gilmar Villornate. Gilmar Villornate was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

In the 69th match minute, Cortadera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Corullon to maneuver through the defense. Gilmar Villornate was a little too slow when Iban Casados got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-7. When the match was over Cortadera could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lions throughout the match.
