After having played for 19 minutes, Lisandro Navagos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akatowari SAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Navagos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martxot Cue in the 20th minute of play forced Turuyaco's goalkeeper Menendo Gestoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Martxot Cue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 minutes, Feliz Valero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turuyaco and the Akatowari SAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Turuyaco getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Feliz Valero hit a great ball. When Adolfo Jares fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akatowari SAS's protests and gave Adolfo Jares a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Akatowari SAS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Turuyaco:s goal. Baiardo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Adolfo Jares put in a rough tackle. Lehior Beitia placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. But to his dismay, Rufio Bobes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Rufio Bobes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ramiro Ganchegui made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Navagos to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Gregorio Arzube mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akatowari SAS and the Turuyaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Akatowari SAS's Lisandro Navagos in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Martxot Cue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menendo Gestoso having to interfere. Ramiro Ganchegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufio Bobes in the 78th minute of play. Martxot Cue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akatowari SAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bingen Baizan in the 87th minute. Rufio Bobes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Ganchegui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Feliz Valero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Ganchegui was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.
