The audience was convinced that Maxin Fontoya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caton Legarda was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxin Fontoya in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caton Legarda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Kiniquiari's Jatsu Villarin got a free kick in the 24th minute. But to his dismay, Maxin Fontoya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Maxin Fontoya sped through Kiniquiari's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caton Legarda. Vergaray Aguilar made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bastia Jolis sent off a good shot on target. Caton Legarda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxin Fontoya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Kiniquiari's zone, Bertol Ozaolaza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caton Legarda came out of the goal and Bertol Ozaolaza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertol Ozaolaza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Ignatius Toldra got a free kick in the 47th minute. Vergaray Aguilar made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Bastia Jolis sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pepillo Pecina made a kick off. Vergaray Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastia Jolis in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Bertol Ozaolaza got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Bertol Ozaolaza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertol Ozaolaza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caton Legarda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Madrid's Mitxel Zotes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caton Legarda. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. When Bertol Ozaolaza came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Real Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertol Ozaolaza couldn't finish the play. Caton Legarda was a little too slow when Ignatius Toldra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pepillo Pecina during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Pepillo Pecina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Kiniquiari getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Xinto Barbeito hit a great ball. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes Gaizka Barreiro shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Caton Legarda when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Real Madrid's Mitxel Zotes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Kiniquiari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepillo Pecina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxin Fontoya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caton Legarda having to interfere. Caton Legarda was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Bertol Ozaolaza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bertol Ozaolaza really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Mitxel Zotes struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Caton Legarda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. Maxin Fontoya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Caton Legarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, one of Kiniquiari:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Real Madrid's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
