Unai Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xan Capitan in the 3rd minute of play. Segovia FC's Unai Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeněk Zajíc in the 4th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Jaen Ardazun made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Unai Porregimon was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when German Senzano got free with Lalla Respaldiza in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Unai Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdeněk Zajíc in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Sporting Cristal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onofre Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Belasko Betzanos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lalla Respaldiza skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eufemio Basabe in the 18th minute of play forced Segovia FC's goalkeeper Unai Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segovia FC's Unai Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xan Capitan in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Cristal F.C. booed when Segovia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mergildo Vincens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Meendez Vango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Unai Porregimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segovia FC's Unai Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeněk Zajíc in the 24th minute of play. Sporting Cristal F.C. were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Segovia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Meendez Vango took the corner. The corner ended in Meendez Vango almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Segovia FC's Unai Porregimon did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viator Andrade during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Viator Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unai Porregimon came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Zdeněk Zajíc. But to his dismay, Zdeněk Zajíc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 34 minutes into the game, Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Zdeněk Zajíc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Unai Porregimon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Unai Porregimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xan Capitan in the 38th minute of the match. Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Xan Capitan got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdeněk Zajíc in the 41st minute of play forced Segovia FC's goalkeeper Unai Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segovia FC's Unai Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeněk Zajíc in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Eufemio Basabe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Unai Porregimon. Segovia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eufemio Basabe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Senzano was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Unai Porregimon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zdeněk Zajíc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Unai Porregimon made a huge save. With a little luck, Segovia FC's Unai Porregimon got control of the ball when Xan Capitan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haritz Soraiz struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Unai Porregimon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Cristal F.C.. In the 66th minute, Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Zdeněk Zajíc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Segovia FC's Unai Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haritz Soraiz in the 70th minute of play. Xan Capitan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Unai Porregimon made a huge save. Unai Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaen Ardazun in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match, Haritz Soraiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Unai Porregimon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Unai Porregimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdeněk Zajíc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Haritz Soraiz took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Unai Porregimon to make any attempt to save it. In the 89th minute, Amato Leceta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Unai Porregimon managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Zdeněk Zajíc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Segovia FC's Unai Porregimon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Segovia FC from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Sporting Cristal F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Segovia FC throughout the match.
