After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Horacio Doypa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiniquiari's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Doypa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lalla Respaldiza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes, Kiniquiari's Horacio Doypa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lalla Respaldiza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kiniquiari reached it. Jatsu Villarin kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Zdeněk Zajíc notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Kiniquiari's Caton Legarda. Caton Legarda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Caton Legarda managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Zdeněk Zajíc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damario Guera during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Damario Guera kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Kiniquiari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damario Guera to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Onofre Pedroso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caton Legarda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Zdeněk Zajíc fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Cristal F.C.'s protests and gave Zdeněk Zajíc a yellow card for diving instead. Zdeněk Zajíc hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, Kiniquiari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soter Cavallosa to maneuver through the defense. Caton Legarda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haritz Soraiz in the 31st minute of play. Haritz Soraiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Cayo Villalambrus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 minutes, Gotzon Urdapilleta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kiniquiari and the Sporting Cristal F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gotzon Urdapilleta hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Haritz Soraiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caton Legarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zdeněk Zajíc to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Eufemio Basabe got a free kick in the 56th minute. Haritz Soraiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Haritz Soraiz put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Caton Legarda. Xinto Barbeito hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sporting Cristal F.C.'s attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Zdeněk Zajíc was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 67th minute, Pepillo Pecina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xan Capitan in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caton Legarda saved Kiniquiari from getting behind. Caton Legarda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haritz Soraiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Jonas Espinosa was substituted for Eufemio Basabe. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Zdeněk Zajíc sped through Kiniquiari's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caton Legarda. In the 84th minute, Bastia Jolis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 96th minute Zdeněk Zajíc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caton Legarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Cristal F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
