Tulio Armendarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAMBAS. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Caras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Dalmu Ajamil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matapalito's Tulio Armendarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txema Lueje in the 57th minute of play. If Sengrat Jimeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Matapalito got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Caras. Rik Valiño charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rik Valiño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rik Valiño kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Txema Lueje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tulio Armendarez having to interfere. MAMBAS's Sengrat Jimeno got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sengrat Jimeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Matapalito got a freekick which was hit by Cebo Millares. After 90 played minutes MAMBAS got a freekick which was hit by Dalmu Ajamil. A collision led to MAMBAS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dalmu Ajamil hit a great ball. Matapalito's Rik Valiño got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
