Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Lalla Respaldiza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Cristal F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sporting Cristal F.C. booed when Balones pinchados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvanito Artes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Xusto Llorden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gumaro Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lalla Respaldiza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector-Luis Munet in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xan Capitan in the 10th minute of play forced Balones pinchados's goalkeeper Gumaro Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eufemio Basabe hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Balones pinchados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Fuerte to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Meendez Vango couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Balones pinchados. 17 minutes into the match, Balones pinchados's goal looked a bit too open when Zdeněk Zajíc came free, but Gumaro Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azubeli Mojon took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lalla Respaldiza. Lalla Respaldiza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Lalla Respaldiza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Cristal F.C. from getting a goal against them. Justino Feliu charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Feliu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Balones pinchados. Leobardo Cubero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lalla Respaldiza. 2-0. In the 30th minute Meendez Vango suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 30 minutes, Hector-Luis Munet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balones pinchados and the Sporting Cristal F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 38 minutes, Hector-Luis Munet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balones pinchados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector-Luis Munet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gumaro Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xusto Llorden in the 40th minute of play. Lalla Respaldiza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aznaro Pereira's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Eufemio Basabe hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Vasco Domingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leobardo Cubero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Azubeli Mojon was the one to do the kick off. Gumaro Casanova made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdeněk Zajíc in the 51st minute. Gumaro Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xusto Llorden, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Lalla Respaldiza came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Balones pinchados's Hector-Luis Munet. But to his dismay, Hector-Luis Munet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 59 minutes into the match, Sporting Cristal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aznaro Pereira came free, but Lalla Respaldiza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zdeněk Zajíc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumaro Casanova having to interfere. Gumaro Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xusto Llorden, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Moise Verdeces hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Balones pinchados's Gumaro Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xan Capitan in the 71st minute of play. Moise Verdeces lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Balones pinchados's Moise Verdeces got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th match minute, Balones pinchados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birjaio Ricote to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Xan Capitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gumaro Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Cristal F.C.'s Lalla Respaldiza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azubeli Mojon in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xan Capitan in the 90th minute of play forced Balones pinchados's goalkeeper Gumaro Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Fuerte's late challenge caught a Sporting Cristal F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Fuerte helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the match, Balones pinchados's goal looked a bit too open when Xusto Llorden came free, but Gumaro Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Balones pinchados were the better team. Balones pinchados's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
