Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iago Saribiarte kicked off to start the match. Tulio Armendarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocente Ruiz in the 8th minute of play. Tulio Armendarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onbera Romay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeu Liñan kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Estudiantes jr's Rutenio Mangual couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Matapalito. If Tuste Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Estudiantes jr's Dan Bergman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cebo Millares in the 29th minute of play. Matapalito's Domeka Ascarretazabal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dan Bergman but with some difficulty. After 33 played minutes Matapalito got a freekick which was hit by Cebo Millares. If Cebo Millares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rik Valiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Jairo Caras made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Matapalito's goalkeeper Tulio Armendarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Cascallana. Tuste Afonso's late challenge caught a Estudiantes jr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tuste Afonso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Matapalito's Tuste Afonso got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Rik Valiño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iago Saribiarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tulio Armendarez having to interfere. Jairo Caras struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Dan Bergman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matapalito. The Matapalito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Estudiantes jr's performance. The match ended with a win for Estudiantes jr.
