When Celso Bobadilla fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guiripa FC's protests and gave Celso Bobadilla a yellow card for diving instead. Celso Bobadilla hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Xzavion Romerano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marin Laso's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Dominic Munguira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vermudo Sanabre. kops fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominic Munguira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Erasto Añoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vermudo Sanabre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Bobadilla in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Erasto Añoza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vermudo Sanabre. kops fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasto Añoza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Ekialde Feloaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Marin Laso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xzavion Romerano was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half Guiripa FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Bobadilla was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Marin Laso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guiripa FC's Xzavion Romerano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, kops fc's goal looked a bit too open when Kauldi Oliba came free, but Vermudo Sanabre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guiripa FC's Erasto Añoza got a free kick in the 61st minute. Urtzi Mones hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes of play, Guiripa FC's Kauldi Oliba made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vermudo Sanabre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ekialde Feloaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xzavion Romerano having to interfere. Benigno Alonso's late challenge caught a kops fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Alonso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guiripa FC's Benigno Alonso got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 82 played minutes kops fc got a freekick which was hit by Dalmai Placencia. After a defensive mix-up in kops fc's zone, Celso Bobadilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vermudo Sanabre came out of the goal and Celso Bobadilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guiripa FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
