Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antonio Vesga took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Barranquito got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Baños. In the 4th minute of the match Bixintxo Larabiedra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cilio Alvadalejo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ibar Rufrancos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ekain Ontaneda. Gregory Zarate was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Vito Peruyera took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cilio Alvadalejo. Cilio Alvadalejo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Barranquito's Ourente Cero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ibar Rufrancos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ourente Cero got free with Ibar Rufrancos in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Antonio Vesga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vito Peruyera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cilio Alvadalejo having to interfere. Ceferino Peramato hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ourente Cero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ibar Rufrancos having to interfere. Ibar Rufrancos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Vesga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ourente Cero had several of the Armero FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Ibar Rufrancos as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Antonio Vesga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barranquito's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Vesga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ibar Rufrancos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito Peruyera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ourente Cero struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Ibar Rufrancos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barranquito. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Peruyera in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cilio Alvadalejo saved Barranquito from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Armero FC's Orzaize Suso got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ibar Rufrancos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ourente Cero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Severiano Silvestre fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armero FC's protests and gave Severiano Silvestre a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Armero FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cilio Alvadalejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Baños's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ibar Rufrancos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Ourente Cero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Armero FC's Eleuterio Soliz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eleuterio Soliz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Armero FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eleuterio Soliz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Armero FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Eleuterio Soliz hit a great ball. Ekain Ontaneda didn't quite understand what happened when in the 80 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 83 minutes of play, Barranquito's Ourente Cero made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ibar Rufrancos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ibar Rufrancos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ourente Cero in the 86th minute of the match. Barranquito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
