Cilio Alvadalejo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lizardi Guiles went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the game, Antonio Vesga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barranquito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cafeteros FC the free kick. The supporters of Cafeteros FC booed when Barranquito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Vesga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Lizardi Guiles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cilio Alvadalejo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Barranquito's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Confercin came free, but Cilio Alvadalejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oihenarte Opacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cilio Alvadalejo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oihenarte Opacio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Froilan Baños hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Barranquito's Lucio Adrian got a free kick in the 40th minute. Lizardi Guiles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cilio Alvadalejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Vesga to strike the kick off in the second half. When Asur Villaverde fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cafeteros FC's protests and gave Asur Villaverde a yellow card for diving instead. Asur Villaverde kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cafeteros FC defense, Antonio Vesga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irrintzi Piñeira. The Cafeteros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irrintzi Piñeira should have stopped the shot. If Artur Confercin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Oihenarte Opacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lizardi Guiles struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Cilio Alvadalejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafeteros FC. After 65 played minutes Jayvier Movellan could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-3 into the left cross. In the 68th minute, Lizardi Guiles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cilio Alvadalejo. The goal made the score 2-4. In the 80th minute, Ourente Cero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lizardi Guiles did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-7 to the left of a surprised Cilio Alvadalejo 86 minutes into the match. Jayvier Movellan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Cafeteros FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lizardi Guiles struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Cilio Alvadalejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafeteros FC. In the 96th minute Lizardi Guiles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cilio Alvadalejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Barranquito fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cafeteros FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
