Aureo Collado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When MAKEMBA's Xamo Galindez in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 22nd minute, Xelo Duque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frasquito Abin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Frasquito Abin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureo Collado, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes of play, MAKEMBA's Xamo Galindez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frasquito Abin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, América de cali's Lucila Senties ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcones Alseda. Marcones Alseda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 39th match minute, América de cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brion Mayre to maneuver through the defense. Xelo Duque was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in MAKEMBA's zone, Lucila Senties stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcones Alseda came out of the goal and Lucila Senties tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cris Oñez to make the kick off. When América de cali's Lucila Senties in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 73rd minute, one of MAKEMBA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MAKEMBA. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for América de cali. Brion Mayre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcones Alseda. 3-3. The supporters of América de cali booed when MAKEMBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaen Astonzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The América de cali fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when América de cali's Cris Oñez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. América de cali's Cris Oñez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of América de cali booed when MAKEMBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eder Santillion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucila Senties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cris Oñez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcones Alseda having to make a save.
