In the 23rd minute, Pio Duque made a precise shot to the right of Madeo Salado. Rosario Central's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. COSMOS's Pio Duque got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Benito Berlanga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gipuzkoa Farre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Arteaga having to interfere. Orixe Candia took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godofredo Arteaga. Godofredo Arteaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arnau Baz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gipuzkoa Farre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Arteaga having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gipuzkoa Farre to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hulberto Llanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madeo Salado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Berlanga, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Madeo Salado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Berlanga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Orixe Candia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Madeo Salado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Berlanga in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Arnau Baz got a free kick in the 79th minute. Benito Berlanga kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Andrea Falcon hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Gipuzkoa Farre struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Godofredo Arteaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central. Godofredo Arteaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gipuzkoa Farre in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rosario Central had played much better football throughout.
