Xavies Baruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucila Senties in the 9th minute of play. Loi Sorondo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Esteban Rejon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasquito Abin having to interfere. América de cali's Frasquito Abin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Rejon in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, América de cali's Frasquito Abin got control of the ball when Todor Puerta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, DAGDA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Oñez came free, but Xavies Baruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavies Baruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cris Oñez in the 20th minute of the match. Todor Puerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasquito Abin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DAGDA FC's Loi Sorondo got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Aquilino Recio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Esteban Rejon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frasquito Abin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frasquito Abin made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Todor Puerta sent off a good shot on target. When Montrell Salgueiro fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored América de cali's protests and gave Montrell Salgueiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, América de cali's Montrell Salgueiro got a free kick in the 36th minute. Todor Puerta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Frasquito Abin made a huge save. Frasquito Abin was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Esteban Rejon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esteban Rejon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Rejon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucila Senties struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Xavies Baruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for América de cali. After a rather tough play, América de cali's Brion Mayre got a free kick in the 55th minute. Frasquito Abin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todor Puerta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Todor Puerta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frasquito Abin having to make a save. 58 minutes into the game, DAGDA FC's Esteban Rejon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frasquito Abin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Frasquito Abin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Rejon, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Frasquito Abin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todor Puerta in the 64th minute of the match. América de cali's Montrell Salgueiro got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Montrell Salgueiro off the ground. After 65 played minutes América de cali got a freekick which was hit by Montrell Salgueiro. Lucila Senties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Xavies Baruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Rejon in the 74th minute of play forced América de cali's goalkeeper Frasquito Abin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, DAGDA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Recio came free, but Xavies Baruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DAGDA FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
