Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Salvidor Navarrete kicked off to start the match. Diogo Lagos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Bemabe Eiriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Chachafruto's goal looked a bit too open when Salvidor Navarrete came free, but Diogo Lagos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Chachafruto defense, Imanol Terres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diogo Lagos. The Chachafruto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diogo Lagos should have stopped the shot. Diogo Lagos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Codony, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CA Barrancabermeja's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fernando Gadea 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Chachafruto's Diogo Lagos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvidor Navarrete in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xayveon Norzagaray was the one to do the kick off. Denis Sudupe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaskon Castaños in the 59th minute of play. Diogo Lagos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Codony in the 60th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Salvidor Navarrete left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Barrancabermeja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Denis Sudupe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salvidor Navarrete who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Diogo Lagos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 85 minutes, Fernando Gadea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chachafruto and the CA Barrancabermeja players grew even worse after the yellow card.
