The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Cecilio Burguete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xayveon Zayas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Burguete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goncalve Morquera charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Goncalve Morquera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Goncalve Morquera kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Machado Mariaza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xayveon Zayas. Inter Latino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Machado Mariaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 21 played minutes Inter Latino FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramirez Boñal. The supporters of Millonarios booed when Inter Latino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jago Izuzquiza didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Machado Mariaza in the 24th minute of play forced Inter Latino FC's goalkeeper Xayveon Zayas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xayveon Zayas came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Millonarios's Hipolito Freyle. But to his dismay, Hipolito Freyle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Frans Oliveros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Teodoro Tarulla made a huge save. Xayveon Zayas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Machado Mariaza's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Xayveon Zayas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Freyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Hipolito Freyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Machado Mariaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Tarulla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etxekopar Carreira in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Hipolito Freyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xayveon Zayas. Inter Latino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Freyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Etxekopar Carreira to make the kick off. Caetano Loño kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ruperto Belorado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Teodoro Tarulla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Oliveros, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter Latino FC's goalkeeper Xayveon Zayas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cecilio Burguete was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xzaiver Cembrana during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Xzaiver Cembrana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Inter Latino FC's Goncalve Morquera got a free kick in the 65th minute. Millonarios's Machado Mariaza got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maore Trarigo scored 0-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xayveon Zayas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute Cecilio Burguete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xayveon Zayas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Latino FC's zone, Hipolito Freyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xayveon Zayas came out of the goal and Hipolito Freyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maore Trarigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xayveon Zayas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Machado Mariaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xayveon Zayas having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Inter Latino FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hipolito Freyle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Xayveon Zayas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Elpidio Laspron. 94 minutes into the match, Etxekopar Carreira notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Millonarios's Teodoro Tarulla. Teodoro Tarulla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charro Descapa hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Inter Latino FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Millonarios were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
