In the 25thth minute of the game Henry Valcarcel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aracure's Niguel Cardiel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 minutes, Rosario Rivero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The G de graafschap fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelito Martines should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute Sansone Biembengén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Martines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Matos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Henry Valcarcel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niguel Cardiel having to interfere.

Aracure's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, G de graafschap's goalkeeper Marcelito Martines had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sansone Biembengén. When the referee ended the match the G de graafschap players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
