After a rather tough play, Kaliningrad's Moise Sebastian got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Xavon Solis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Claus Ladra fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaliningrad's protests and gave Claus Ladra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MILLONARIOSFC booed when Kaliningrad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Ladra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes Kaliningrad got a freekick which was hit by Xavon Solis. When Ximenes Arganzua came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kaliningrad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximenes Arganzua couldn't finish the play. Ortle Fontecavada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavon Solis in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ortle Fontecavada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ximenes Arganzua's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Vidal Peñin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the MILLONARIOSFC defense, Ximenes Arganzua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ortle Fontecavada. The MILLONARIOSFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ortle Fontecavada should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Kaliningrad's goal looked a bit too open when Bide Astete came free, but Gaur Sempere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Juan-Carlos Obiano made a precise shot to the right of Ortle Fontecavada. MILLONARIOSFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
