Madeo Fitado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hanot Balado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Los Paisitas booed when Bogota Juniors 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Erus didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Renaldo Sueiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Los Paisitas got a freekick which was hit by Illan Antoniano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hartz Monterros got free with Firmin Santo in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Bogota Juniors 09 defense, Hartz Monterros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Firmin Santo. The Bogota Juniors 09 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Firmin Santo should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Hartz Monterros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Firmin Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urtungo Castriciones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firmin Santo having to interfere. Bogota Juniors 09's Firmin Santo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Bogota Juniors 09 from getting a goal against them. After having played for 35 minutes, Urtungo Castriciones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Paisitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urtungo Castriciones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Los Paisitas's Jenaro Conejero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

The wind increased when Hartz Monterros made the kick off in the second half. Hartz Monterros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Firmin Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hartz Monterros went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Bogota Juniors 09's Firmin Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hartz Monterros in the 61st minute of play. Firmin Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hartz Monterros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jenaro Conejero hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Renaldo Sueiro fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Bogota Juniors 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jenaro Conejero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Firmin Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hartz Monterros in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bogota Juniors 09's zone, Jenaro Conejero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Firmin Santo came out of the goal and Jenaro Conejero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Paisitas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
