Juan-Alfredo Martines was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, independiente kennedy's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Herreros came free, but Carlos Augusto Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gilvan Furlan fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stipors FC's protests and gave Gilvan Furlan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Stipors FC's Gilvan Furlan got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Gorbea Alonso came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the independiente kennedy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gorbea Alonso couldn't finish the play. independiente kennedy's Carlos Augusto Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Herreros in the 18th minute of play. Carlos Augusto Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Campero went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Karl-Ove Kielberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stipors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Velasco Rubinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Stipors FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Evelio Campero hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Stipors FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Joseph had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wei Xuan Soon. After a rather tough play, independiente kennedy's Wei Xuan Soon got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Joaquin Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Xuan Soon in the 40th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wei Xuan Soon to strike the kick off in the second half. independiente kennedy's Carlos Augusto Faria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save independiente kennedy from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Joseph came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by independiente kennedy's Juan-Alfredo Martines. But to his dismay, Juan-Alfredo Martines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 60th minute of the game Evarado Zorita made a throw-in which Wei Xuan Soon played forward. Gorbea Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Velasco Rubinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute of the match, Omar Herreros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Augusto Faria was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Stipors FC's Cesinha Ceresso was substituted for Beat Cabezas. Claudinei Vitoria kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Evarado Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joaquin Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stipors FC made a substitution. Zuhaitz Beysama replaced Evelio Campero. Joaquin Joseph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wei Xuan Soon, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Stipors FC defense, Wei Xuan Soon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Joseph. The Stipors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Joseph should have stopped the shot.
