After a defensive mix-up in independiente kennedy's zone, Jenaro Conejero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Augusto Faria came out of the goal and Jenaro Conejero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, independiente kennedy's goal looked a bit too open when Hartz Monterros came free, but Carlos Augusto Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urtungo Castriciones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Augusto Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hartz Monterros, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 29 minutes, Amadeo Cifuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Paisitas and the independiente kennedy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Amadeo Cifuentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Augusto Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hartz Monterros in the 32nd minute of play. The corner was taken by Martxelin Alejandro in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, independiente kennedy's goal looked a bit too open when Jenaro Conejero came free, but Carlos Augusto Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hartz Monterros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Jenaro Conejero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Augusto Faria. Los Paisitas's Hanot Balado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Xuan Soon in the 59th minute of play. Bastiaro Devalla's late challenge caught a independiente kennedy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bastiaro Devalla helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of independiente kennedy booed when Los Paisitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastiaro Devalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, independiente kennedy's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Faria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hartz Monterros. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wei Xuan Soon during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Paisitas's Jenaro Conejero got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evis Daque in the 73rd minute of play forced Los Paisitas's goalkeeper Hanot Balado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Augusto Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th match minute, Los Paisitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cibran Villayuste to maneuver through the defense. Jenaro Conejero hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in independiente kennedy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Paisitas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
