In the 16th minute Gonza Villamil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larra Yañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Teofil Bulkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. junior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofil Bulkiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Teofil Bulkiewicz made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Independiente Santa Fe's Larra Yañez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22ndth minute of the game Teofil Bulkiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente Santa Fe's Larra Yañez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofil Bulkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Teofil Bulkiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Larra Yañez. Independiente Santa Fe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Larra Yañez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Rafel in the 43rd minute of the match. Teofil Bulkiewicz took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Larra Yañez. Larra Yañez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. After the first half junior were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofil Bulkiewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. The junior fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when junior's Teofil Bulkiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valente Arrazola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Tegerina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Sidro Barrasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Independiente Santa Fe getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bras Subiza hit a great ball. Berdaitz Chavez kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Sayvion Bas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. junior's Teofil Bulkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofil Bulkiewiczs short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Larra Yañez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valente Arrazola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Clavijo in the 69th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Independiente Santa Fe! Sayvion Bas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 77 played minutes Independiente Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Clavijo. Teofil Bulkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofil Bulkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente Santa Fe's goalkeeper Larra Yañez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Gonza Villamil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Larra Yañez. Independiente Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonza Villamil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. junior played a much better game than Independiente Santa Fe and deserved their victory. The Independiente Santa Fe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
