The supporters of Tolima.F.C. booed when Orion F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montae Ribalta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Carlomagno Caceo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Tolima.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Montae Ribalta came free, but Diaz Vinuesa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tolima.F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Federico Salaya scored to the left of an out of position Diaz Vinuesa, making the score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Orion F.C.'s Montae Ribalta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diaz Vinuesa. Diaz Vinuesa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 31st minute, Juan Iribe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Tolima.F.C.'s goalkeeper Diaz Vinuesa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Salaya. Orion F.C.'s Luis Perales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llin Vallines in the 33rd minute of play. Federico Salaya came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diaz Vinuesa could save by the left post. In the 42nd minute, Paz Reinosa made a precise shot to the right of Luis Perales. Orion F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Tolima.F.C.'s Diaz Vinuesa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Tolima.F.C. from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Llin Vallines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lluis Trielles charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Paz Reinosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Federico Salaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diaz Vinuesa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llin Valliness short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Luis Perales to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oxel Diz charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oxel Diz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Oxel Diz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Federico Salaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diaz Vinuesa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Montae Ribalta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lluis Trielles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diaz Vinuesa having to interfere. Luis Perales came out of the goal and Carlomagno Caceo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Perales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Llin Vallines in the 95th minute.
