A collision led to Deportivo Tolima Ibagué getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Silvino Callergos hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Taladriz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Martines was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's Gerardo Martines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Pagomari in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Pagomari came free, but Gerardo Martines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şeref Şahbender made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Formerio Cimas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Pagomari in the 14th minute of play forced Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's goalkeeper Gerardo Martines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Goitia charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timoteo Goitia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Deportivo Tolima Ibagué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Goitia to maneuver through the defense. Gerardo Martines came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Angeles FC's Yaşar Nuri Başbuğ. But to his dismay, Yaşar Nuri Başbuğ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's zone, Gaspar Taladriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Martines came out of the goal and Gaspar Taladriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerardo Martines came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Angeles FC's Edelmiro Pagomari. But to his dismay, Edelmiro Pagomari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 26th minute, Luca Savu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Martines was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 29th minute, Formerio Cimas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Yaşar Nuri Başbuğ made a precise shot to the right of Gerardo Martines. Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Taladriz in the 35th minute of play forced Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's goalkeeper Gerardo Martines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Savu scored 0-5 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerardo Martines, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerardo Martines didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Savu went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Edelmiro Pagomari took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerardo Martines. Gerardo Martines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. 47 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Pagomari came free, but Gerardo Martines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 51st play minute Wincenty Ramzinski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gerardo Martines. 0-8. Gerardo Martines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Cândroveanu in the 54th minute of play. Guido Montaño kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the game's 59th minute Angeles FC's Maximo Cedron took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Gerardo Martines and thus the score was 0-9. In the 62nd minute Edelmiro Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Martines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Martines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Savu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's goalkeeper Gerardo Martines had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luca Savu. Gerardo Martines yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Gaspar Taladriz took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerardo Martines. Gerardo Martines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. 81 minutes into the game, Chan Grandas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angeles FC the free kick. After 83 minutes, Ortzi Bebian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Tolima Ibagué and the Angeles FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 84 minutes in the game, Edelmiro Pagomari dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Taladriz got free with Gerardo Martines in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Luca Savu scored to the left of an out of position Gerardo Martines, making the score, 0-14. Gerardo Martines was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edelmiro Pagomari showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 91 minute of play. With a little luck, Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's Gerardo Martines got control of the ball when Wincenty Ramzinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute Luca Savu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Martines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angeles FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
