The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonel Perdices kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, La Potra Saina's Gaxan Partarroyo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berart Laso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Berart Laso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaxan Partarroyo in the 9th minute of the match. Timoteo Azailla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quirce Merecilla got free with Nicholas Galve in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berart Laso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaxan Partarroyo in the 28th minute of play. After 34 played minutes La Potra Saina got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Azailla. Quirce Merecilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iaki Michelena in the 43rd minute of play forced La Potra Saina's goalkeeper Nicholas Galve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaxan Partarroyo was the one to do the kick off. Quirce Merecilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Galve having to interfere. Timoteo Azailla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Potra Saina's Eneas Descarrega got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, La Potra Saina's Gaxan Partarroyo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Quirce Merecilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Procopio Uranga in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Speed west's Feliciano Encinas. Gaxan Partarroyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Victorio Velo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berart Laso. Speed west's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Velo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The Speed west supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Potra Saina's performance. The match ended with a win for La Potra Saina.
