When Gasteiz Luga came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Zion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gasteiz Luga couldn't finish the play. Rafe Palos made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Asteri Canal sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute of the match, Louis Ebro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafe Palos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 12 minutes into the match, CF Selva Serrat's goalkeeper Rafe Palos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gasteiz Luga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zornin Espineiro in the 14th minute of play forced CF Selva Serrat's goalkeeper Rafe Palos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Gonza Tofino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gasteiz Luga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Rafe Palos made a huge save. Niguel Varaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonza Tofino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Hodei Capelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Xines Holguin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafe Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafe Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Ebro in the 40th minute of the match. Canor Feyjo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rafe Palos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xines Holguin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Rafe Palos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xines Holguin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Xines Holguin made the kick off in the second half. Rafe Palos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gasteiz Luga, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54thth minute of the game Louis Ebro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF Selva Serrat's Rafe Palos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clemencin Yanguas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Xines Holguin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zion's supporters rose to their feet, but Xines Holguin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafe Palos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafe Palos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xines Holguin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF Selva Serrat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gasteiz Luga was slow to take the kick. During this time Zion's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Zion's corner Gasteiz Luga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafe Palos quite easily take care of the ball. Zion were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after CF Selva Serrat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gasteiz Luga took the corner. CF Selva Serrat's Rafe Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zornin Espineiro in the 72nd minute of play. Clemencin Yanguas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gasteiz Luga sped through CF Selva Serrat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafe Palos. 93 minutes into the match, CF Selva Serrat's goal looked a bit too open when Gasteiz Luga came free, but Rafe Palos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Zion booed when CF Selva Serrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemencin Yanguas didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zion fully deserved thier win.
