The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s goalkeeper Semeno Valladares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Placiencia. Semeno Valladares made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Johan Lång sent off a good shot on target. Semeno Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilabertus Bultes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Haimar Martua kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Demario Miel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 42 minutes of play, ATLETIC AB's Johan Lång made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Semeno Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Boladeras in the 48th minute of play forced ATLETIC AB's goalkeeper Eneko Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 64th match minute, Cantera De Héroes F.C ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivon Cerecedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Demario Miel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Semeno Valladares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 67th minute Vilmantas Ubavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Semeno Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ATLETIC AB were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Demario Miel took the corner. Demario Miel made a great header on ATLETIC AB's corner, it was just that Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s Semeno Valladares managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Americo Boladeras in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eneko Alvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pinto Iban's late challenge caught a ATLETIC AB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pinto Iban helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Cantera De Héroes F.C ® got a freekick which was hit by Pinto Iban. In the 85th minute, Bertran Soberon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATLETIC AB's goalkeeper Eneko Alvarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lazaro Bascones hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Placiencia in the 94th minute of play forced Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s goalkeeper Semeno Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ATLETIC AB fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cantera De Héroes F.C ® had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
