In the 87thth minute of the game Reinaldo Briceño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Fe's Nataniel Trevijano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With splendid footwork Reinaldo Briceño arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-10 by the left pole in the game's 88th minute. If Samuel Horduña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC Viola Gigliati's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
