The throw-in from Marcelito Miramontes in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barcelona's Dalmau Viniegra. Paulin Barroso struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Leoncio Balaguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elo. Roger Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmau Viniegra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Roger Jaen made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Dalmau Viniegra sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Ihazintu Barbot made a precise shot to the right of Roger Jaen. Elo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bartuelo Valdivielso made the kick off in the second half. Leoncio Balaguer came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Elo's Bartuelo Valdivielso. But to his dismay, Bartuelo Valdivielso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Elo's Bartuelo Valdivielso got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Ihazintu Barbot. Paulin Barroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leoncio Balaguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barcelona's Manolito Bernalda got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to Barcelona getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dalmau Viniegra hit a great ball. Marcelito Miramontes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmau Viniegra in the 71st minute of play forced Elo's goalkeeper Roger Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Dalmau Viniegra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Jaen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmau Viniegra in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Quirze Melendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelona the free kick. After a rather tough play, Elo's Quirze Melendez got a free kick in the 78th minute. A hard shot 90 in the game by Paulin Barroso from a close distance when the talented Leoncio Balaguer managed to make a qualified save. Barcelona's players were relieved. Leoncio Balaguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulin Barroso in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmau Viniegra in the 95th minute of play forced Elo's goalkeeper Roger Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, Barcelona failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
