Todor Luaces dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Gala during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Zaragocilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Gala. With an all-out effort, Atlético Medellín FC's Marcin Cebula threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mantzio Virues, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Todor Luaces took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velichko Nasev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Zaragocilla FC's Hector-Luis Ayasti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Todor Luaces made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Atlético Medellín FC defense, Hector-Luis Ayasti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Todor Luaces. The Atlético Medellín FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Todor Luaces should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Ovidio Gala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Todor Luaces was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the game, Romulo Arbe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Medellín FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zaragocilla FC the free kick. A collision led to Atlético Medellín FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Romulo Arbe hit a great ball. The supporters of Zaragocilla FC booed when Atlético Medellín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrio Iza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nalo Viego scored 0-5 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Todor Luaces, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Zaragocilla FC's zone, Mantzio Virues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcin Cebula came out of the goal and Mantzio Virues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Atlético Medellín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Gala came free, but Todor Luaces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Todor Luaces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velichko Nasev in the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Velichko Nasev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zaragocilla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Todor Luaces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector-Luis Ayasti in the 44th minute of play. Todor Luaces showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector-Luis Ayasti, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Todor Luaces was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nalo Viego showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 64 minute of play. Todor Luaces took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velichko Nasev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Zaragocilla FC's Ovidio Gala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Todor Luaces. That made the score 0-8 after 73 minutes of play. With a little luck, Atlético Medellín FC's Todor Luaces got control of the ball when Velichko Nasev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Todor Luaces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector-Luis Ayasti in the 83rd minute of play. Zaragocilla FC's Marcin Cebula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Arbe in the 85th minute of play. If Mantzio Virues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Nalo Viego reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Todor Luaces. The goal made the score 0-9. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zaragocilla FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
