Spectators: 8520 (Terracing: 6400, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 170) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Laurentzi got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Zaragocilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cloyo Mendigoitia to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Tauro Camero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Zaragocilla FC's Patrick Bedford. Patrick Bedford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Paulo Laurentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Bedford was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Paulo Laurentzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Bedford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After 12th play minutes Paulo Laurentzi shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Patrick Bedford and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Zaragocilla FC defense, Paulo Laurentzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Bedford. The Zaragocilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Bedford should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Paulo Laurentzi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Zaragocilla FC's Patrick Bedford. Patrick Bedford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mehmet Emin Kamer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Criciúma Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Emin Kamer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Bedford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Zaragocilla FC's Maureo Castejon got a free kick in the 25th minute. Patrick Bedford stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Laurentzi's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Paulo Laurentzi sped through Zaragocilla FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrick Bedford. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Valadares in the 35th minute of play forced Zaragocilla FC's goalkeeper Patrick Bedford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Bedford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Patrick Bedford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Laurentzi in the 45th minute of play forced Zaragocilla FC's goalkeeper Patrick Bedford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Bedford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Laurentzi in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th match minute, Zaragocilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kepa Espejo to maneuver through the defense. After 49 played minutes Criciúma Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Tercero Noya. The Zaragocilla FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Criciúma Esporte Clube were winning 0-8.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidio Gala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrick Bedford made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Paulo Laurentzi sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Laurentzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrick Bedford. That made the score 0-9 in the 60 minute of play. Maureo Castejon was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 65th minute, Maureo Castejon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Bedford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vasile Curagãu struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Patrick Bedford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Criciúma Esporte Clube. Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zaragocilla FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 78th minute, Paulo Laurentzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrick Bedford. The goal made the score 0-11. 81 minutes into the game, Paulo Laurentzi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Bedford. Paulo Laurentzi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. The supporters of Criciúma Esporte Clube booed when Zaragocilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Gala didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paulo Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tercero Noya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Bedford having to interfere. Paulo Laurentzis short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Patrick Bedford to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 89 in the game by Paulo Laurentzi from a close distance when the talented Patrick Bedford managed to make a qualified save. Zaragocilla FC's players were relieved. Paulo Laurentzi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-13 to the left of a surprised Patrick Bedford 90 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Paulo Laurentzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Bedford was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-15. When the final whistle sounded Criciúma Esporte Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zaragocilla FC.
