After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Beila Cuyar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paunita's supporters rose to their feet, but Beila Cuyar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Diaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zoilo Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Zoilo Oliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. LA METRO's Luis Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Verdesoto in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Paunita getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Zoilo Oliver hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, LA METRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Castellon to maneuver through the defense. If Zoilo Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mirande Axeitos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Diaz having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Zoilo Oliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gregorio Verdesoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidencio Rosete stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Zoilo Oliver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA METRO's Luis Diaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zoilo Oliver took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Diaz. Luis Diaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Crispo Muniz was a little too slow when Fidencio Rosete got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 3-1. 72 minutes into the game, one of LA METRO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Galsino Torrens walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of LA METRO booed when Paunita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beila Cuyar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zoilo Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beila Cuyar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Diaz having to interfere.
