Lesardo Zaldua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Transito Berroa went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Anxo Ciriaca tried in the 36th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Stefan Babicki a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, independiente pb's Lesardo Zaldua got control of the ball when Diaz Grandoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Saverio Ocaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Babicki was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
