Bartoli Bertiz scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lesardo Zaldua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Real Dracul Medellín's goalkeeper Asier Pedraja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adalberto Aguinaga. After a rather tough play, independiente pb's Firme Uriszar got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute, Adalberto Aguinaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asier Pedraja was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Saverio Ocaña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saverio Ocaña really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Henric Viciola notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of independiente pb's Lesardo Zaldua. Lesardo Zaldua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Real Dracul Medellín's Orain Husarte got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beat Ezcurra's late challenge caught a Real Dracul Medellín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beat Ezcurra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Beat Ezcurra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the independiente pb defense, Orain Husarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lesardo Zaldua. The independiente pb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lesardo Zaldua should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orain Husarte in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lesardo Zaldua saved independiente pb from getting behind. In the 42ndth minute of the game Orain Husarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but independiente pb's Lesardo Zaldua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute of the game, Zarando Robleda landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Real Dracul Medellín's Xicu Cediel was substituted for Zarando Robleda. The audience was convinced that Orain Husarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lesardo Zaldua was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orain Husarte to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Jerardo Cazares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Dracul Medellín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave independiente pb the free kick. Jerardo Cazares hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Orlin Cintron kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Henric Viciola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lesardo Zaldua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orain Husarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Henric Viciola was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Real Dracul Medellín's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Orain Husarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orain Husarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Lesardo Zaldua when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Xicu Cediel kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Firme Uriszar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asier Pedraja was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Lesardo Zaldua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerardo Cazares in the 87th minute of play. Orain Husarte got in the 90th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Lesardo Zaldua handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Real Dracul Medellín played a much better game than independiente pb and deserved their victory. The independiente pb players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
