After having played for 2 minutes, Marcos Villarias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 6th match minute, Atletico Mede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Urrejola to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Urrejola's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felipe Varela firmly grabbed it by the left post. 12 minutes into the game, Bernad Albino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Reynardo Abaurre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reynardo Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Villarias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynardo Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Virga, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cordearo Pesante hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Reynardo Abaurre came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Nacional FC's Elias Descalzo. But to his dismay, Elias Descalzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Reynardo Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernad Albino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Villarias took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynardo Abaurre. Reynardo Abaurre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlondon Arraiz got free with Felipe Varela in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Atletico Mede's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Villarias came free, but Reynardo Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcelo Urrejola fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Mede's protests and gave Marcelo Urrejola a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Atletico Mede got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Urrejola. Atletico Mede's Reynardo Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Virga in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, Atletico Nacional FC's Marcos Villarias made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynardo Abaurre was left in no man's land by his defense there! During the 46th minute of the match Marcelo Urrejola completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcelo Urrejola a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 46th match minute, Atletico Mede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Urrejola to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Del Prete made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Atletico Mede's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Villarias came free, but Reynardo Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynardo Abaurre made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gustavo Del Prete sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the game, Marcos Villarias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Reynardo Abaurre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Atletico Mede's Baumar Silveira got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Gustavo Del Prete made a precise shot to the right of Reynardo Abaurre. Atletico Mede's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. The supporters of Atletico Mede booed when Atletico Nacional FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tạ 张飞乐 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Gustavo Del Prete reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reynardo Abaurre. The goal made the score 0-10. 77 minutes into the game, Atletico Nacional FC's Luís Virga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynardo Abaurre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Nacional FC's Bernad Albino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynardo Abaurre. That made the score 0-12 after 81 minutes of play. Reynardo Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Villarias in the 85th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Atletico Mede's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Virga came free, but Reynardo Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Atletico Mede getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Orlondon Arraiz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Mede's Cordearo Pesante got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Marcos Villarias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Reynardo Abaurre made a huge save. Atletico Nacional FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
