Dag Ahlrot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Santiyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Cartagena's Dag Ahlrot got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sengrat Cieza fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Cartagena's protests and gave Sengrat Cieza a yellow card for diving instead. Teo Otsando hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Arotza Olmeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Ahlrot in the 16th minute of the match. Teo Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Dag Ahlrot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Cartagena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Cartagena's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gene Simmons was slow to take the kick. During this time C&H 1964's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Cartagena's goalie and right to Shi Chao. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Cartagena's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Real Cartagena's Edwin Devine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ace Spade in the 29th minute of play. Edwin Devine had great luck who in the 29thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ace Spade from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The throw-in from Teo Otsando in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Cartagena's 曾梁南. Ace Spade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Devine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Ace Spade notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Real Cartagena's Edwin Devine. Edwin Devine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Ahlrot in the 41st minute of play forced C&H 1964's goalkeeper Arotza Olmeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes C&H 1964's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alonzo Helguera who took care of the corner kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After a defensive mix-up in Real Cartagena's zone, Gene Simmons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Devine came out of the goal and Gene Simmons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chus Ayarza got free with Arotza Olmeda in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute Angelo Santiyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Devine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arotza Olmeda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Ahlrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Dag Ahlrot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arotza Olmeda. C&H 1964's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dag Ahlrot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dag Ahlrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Real Cartagena's Chus Ayarza got a free kick in the 77th minute. Real Cartagena's Edwin Devine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ace Spade in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Ace Spade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C&H 1964's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ace Spade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tyrfingur Edgarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Cartagena's Alonzo Helguera was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arotza Olmeda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Real Cartagena were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over C&H 1964's much stronger midfield.
