The supporters of Pulpo1971 FC booed when C&H 1964 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute Corderall Avendaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arotza Olmeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ace Spade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes Pulpo1971 FC got a freekick which was hit by Sengrat Valdecañas. 16 minutes into the match, Pulpo1971 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ace Spade came free, but Teofilo Valentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ace Spade sped through Pulpo1971 FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teofilo Valentin. Pulpo1971 FC's Teofilo Valentin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Pulpo1971 FC from getting a goal against them. Arotza Olmeda came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Pulpo1971 FC's Porfiro Revilla. But to his dismay, Porfiro Revilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th minute, C&H 1964's Angelo Santiyan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Ace Spade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Teofilo Valentin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, C&H 1964 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Kavourmatzis to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Santiyan in the 56th minute of play forced Pulpo1971 FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Valentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Valentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ace Spade in the 59th minute of the match. The referee gave C&H 1964 a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tyrfingur Edgarsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pulpo1971 FC's Teofilo Valentin. 4-1. Ace Spade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Lizana got free with Arotza Olmeda in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind C&H 1964's goalkeeper Arotza Olmeda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pulpo1971 FC were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after C&H 1964's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Corderall Avendaño took the corner. Pulpo1971 FC made a substitution. Grabiel Arcelay replaced Katia Lallera. Pulpo1971 FC's Mane Alcubilla was substituted for Aaron Lizana. Teofilo Valentin came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by C&H 1964's Angelo Santiyan. But to his dismay, Angelo Santiyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Teofilo Valentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Santiyan in the 93rd minute of play.
