The supporters of Warriors de Barranquilla booed when Penuel Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lizer Cordal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Maléř read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Lizer Cordal might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Maléř. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The shot was stopped by André Maléř but with some difficulty. In the 79th minute, Eduardo Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penuel Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When Chen Shi Ran came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Penuel Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chen Shi Ran couldn't finish the play. André Maléř made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Pires in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Chen Shi Ran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Maléř was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Bartoleme Villasante's late challenge caught a Warriors de Barranquilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
