André Maléř came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Bastiaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 8th minute of play forced Warriors de Barranquilla's goalkeeper André Maléř to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hardi Jucknischke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Gelmiro in the 9th minute of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Rigoberto Bastiaro sped through Warriors de Barranquilla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Maléř. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Teofilo Mascarañas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. André Maléř made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 21st minute. A collision led to Glorioso Deportivo Cali getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tzvetan Mudrov hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Warriors de Barranquilla's goalkeeper André Maléř had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro. In the 31st minute, Pierre Obree hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tzvetan Mudrov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Maléř read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Rigoberto Bastiaro scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Maléř, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 38th minute of play forced Warriors de Barranquilla's goalkeeper André Maléř to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Rigoberto Bastiaro got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 40 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Bastiaro took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Maléř. André Maléř dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Bastiaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Bastiaro notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Warriors de Barranquilla's André Maléř. André Maléř was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Warriors de Barranquilla's zone, Teofilo Mascarañas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Maléř came out of the goal and Teofilo Mascarañas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Maléř came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Bastiaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some careless play in the Warriors de Barranquilla defense, Rigoberto Bastiaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Maléř. The Warriors de Barranquilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Maléř should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 77th minute of play forced Warriors de Barranquilla's goalkeeper André Maléř to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Bastiaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Maléř. Warriors de Barranquilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Bastiaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. André Maléř took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Rigoberto Bastiaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. When Teofilo Mascarañas came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Mascarañas couldn't finish the play. Cezary Watarz's late challenge caught a Glorioso Deportivo Cali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezary Watarz helped the player get up and apologised. Cezary Watarz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Warriors de Barranquilla's Felix Arana got a free kick in the 96th minute. When Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warriors de Barranquilla's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Glorioso Deportivo Cali were the better team. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
