Cumaralito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glorioso Deportivo Cali the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Cumaralito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Ribéry to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Cumaralito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Bastiaro came free, but Ettore Di Rado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match, Anders Pihlberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hardi Jucknischke was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cumaralito FC's Ettore Di Rado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Cumaralito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepe Portocarrero to maneuver through the defense. Ettore Di Rado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Bastiaro to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cumaralito FC's goalkeeper Ettore Di Rado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro. After 53 minutes Cumaralito FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tzvetan Mudrov who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Cumaralito FC booed when Glorioso Deportivo Cali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Matei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Glorioso Deportivo Cali's zone, Simon Crowell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hardi Jucknischke came out of the goal and Simon Crowell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pepe Portocarrero hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Bastiaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Ettore Di Rado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Rigoberto Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Bastiaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ettore Di Rado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bruno Colecchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Cumaralito FC's Ettore Di Rado got control of the ball when Rigoberto Bastiaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cumaralito FC's Ettore Di Rado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Cumaralito FC from getting a goal against them. Glorioso Deportivo Cali were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Cumaralito FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tzvetan Mudrov took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Guerau Sastre managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Cumaralito FC's Pepe Portocarrero got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Rigoberto Bastiaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ettore Di Rado made a huge save. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Hardi Jucknischke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match Cumaralito FC got a corner. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pepe Portocarrero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cumaralito FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pepe Portocarrero in the 83rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Pepe Portocarrero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hardi Jucknischke quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
