James Rodriguez might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Maléř. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. James Rodriguez ran back to his position shaking his head. After 13 played minutes Warriors de Barranquilla got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Watarz. If Hernan Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. André Maléř showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Warriors de Barranquilla's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Machado came free, but André Maléř reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Hernan Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. André Maléř was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Maléř made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Machado in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, INTERNAUTAS FDC's Banan Balle got control of the ball when Marques Chavez tried to sneak it across the goal line. When INTERNAUTAS FDC's Hernan Machado in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. André Maléř showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Rodriguez in the 37th minute of the match. André Maléř came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by INTERNAUTAS FDC's Hernan Machado. But to his dismay, Hernan Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 44th minute Hernan Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Maléř saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. INTERNAUTAS FDC's Hernan Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. INTERNAUTAS FDC's attentive James Rodriguez managed to snatch the ball when Cezary Watarz made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Machado in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Maléř saved Warriors de Barranquilla from getting behind. Warriors de Barranquilla's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Hernan Machado scored to the left of an out of position André Maléř, making the score, 0-4. After having played for 60 minutes, Luís Fernando Muriel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warriors de Barranquilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fernando Muriel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Maléř took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute of the match INTERNAUTAS FDC got a corner. Warriors de Barranquilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. James Rodriguez ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Hernan Machado advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-5 in the 63rd minute. A hard shot 67 in the game by Hernan Machado from a close distance when the talented André Maléř managed to make a qualified save. Warriors de Barranquilla's players were relieved. In the 77th minute, INTERNAUTAS FDC's Hernan Machado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Maléř. André Maléř yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Rodriguez in the 82nd minute of play forced Warriors de Barranquilla's goalkeeper André Maléř to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game James Rodriguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warriors de Barranquilla's André Maléř was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Machado in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Maléř prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernan Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but André Maléř made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Pierre Obree hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
