Spectators: 8557 (Terracing: 6400, Seating: 1985, VIP seats: 172) América United FC's Pau Rael started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Till Lindeman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by América United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Coleira was slow to take the kick. During this time Sugamuxi's players had a chance to rest. Pau Rael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Justino Ungia made a huge save. Hori Guillemez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasquito Ferreiro having to interfere. Justino Ungia made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Pau Rael sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Coleira was the one to do the kick off. Kacper Literski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Justino Ungia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Costin Bara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Ungia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justino Ungia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Literski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Pau Rael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Ungia was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Justino Ungia came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by América United FC's Pau Rael. But to his dismay, Pau Rael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sugamuxi's Cordero Jesus was substituted for Reuben Billington. In the 82nd minute, Sugamuxi's Jonas Bauweleers seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jonas Bauweleers the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sugamuxi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonas Bauweleers had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sugamuxi's Nerio Doro was substituted for Goyo Salais. Sugamuxi made a substitution. Nataniel Hormaza replaced Maxim Fossaert. In the 93rd minute Till Lindeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Ungia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match América United FC got a corner. Sugamuxi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pau Rael ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pau Rael got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Justino Ungia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hori Guillemez hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Sugamuxi's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because América United FC had won, even though Sugamuxi had held more of the ball.
