Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Ixidor in the 17th minute of the match. Lorenz Ureta made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Pacorro Aguilar sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Wrexham's Tiro Ba got a free kick in the 28th minute. Mario Alberto Yepes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wrexham's goalkeeper Lorenz Ureta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lorenz Ureta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pacorro Aguilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wrexham's goalkeeper Lorenz Ureta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the match ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a corner. Wrexham's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Gaspar Alborza to fire away a dangerous shot which Lorenz Ureta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cacá Ba kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Wrexham's Lorenz Ureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nalo Loaisa in the 43rd minute of play. With a little luck, Wrexham's Lorenz Ureta got control of the ball when Noel Guerrero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Pacorro Aguilar made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Noel Guerrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenz Ureta. Wrexham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noel Guerrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Pacorro Aguilar hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Wrexham's goal looked a bit too open when Pacorro Aguilar came free, but Lorenz Ureta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pacorro Aguilar in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenz Ureta saved Wrexham from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Wrexham's goal looked a bit too open when Pacorro Aguilar came free, but Lorenz Ureta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenz Ureta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacorro Aguilar in the 64th minute of the match. When ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pacorro Aguilar, in the 64th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Achraf Hakimi was substituted for Noel Guerrero. After 70 minutes of play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pero Falla made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenz Ureta was left in no man's land by his defense there! The corner ended in Joppe Hvenegaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar did a great save. In the 77th minute, Pero Falla made a precise shot to the right of Lorenz Ureta. Wrexham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 81st minute Sten Kvick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenz Ureta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pero Falla went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Pero Falla might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenz Ureta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pero Falla ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wrexham had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
