The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Raven Heart fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when Raven Heart's Pero Barrutia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Normando Graniela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manilan Monterrey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 5 minute of play. Raven Heart's Kelemen Reyna suffered a sore thigh after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Raven Heart made a substitution. Dragoljub Krajišnik replaced Kelemen Reyna. In the 20th minute, Xosepe Viesca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21st play minutes Barto Gayoso shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Normando Graniela and just under the crossbar into goal. Pero Barrutia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th match minute, America De Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xosepe Viesca to maneuver through the defense. Normando Graniela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barto Gayoso in the 29th minute of play. Barto Gayoso scored 6-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Normando Graniela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Normando Graniela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manilan Monterrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pero Barrutia in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Normando Graniela saved America De Cali from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Manilan Monterrey dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Normando Graniela, 7-0. Benvido Fuica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ler Cayuso in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Pero Barrutia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but America De Cali's Normando Graniela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Barto Gayoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, Raven Heart's Barto Gayoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Normando Graniela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Barto Gayoso struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Normando Graniela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raven Heart. 57 minutes into the game, Pero Barrutia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Normando Graniela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Normando Graniela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pero Barrutia went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. After 62 minutes of play, Raven Heart's Barto Gayoso made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Normando Graniela was left in no man's land by his defense there! America De Cali's Normando Graniela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barto Gayoso in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Manilan Monterrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Normando Graniela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Barto Gayoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Normando Graniela. America De Cali's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barto Gayoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Raven Heart's Barto Gayoso got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Normando Graniela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manilan Monterrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Manilan Monterrey made a precise shot to the right of Normando Graniela. America De Cali's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. Raven Heart's Kurt Blixt was substituted for Natalio Marcones. 88 minutes into the game, Raven Heart's Barto Gayoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Normando Graniela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. 92 minutes into the match, America De Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Pero Barrutia came free, but Normando Graniela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Raven Heart's Manilan Monterrey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Normando Graniela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-0. Raven Heart walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
