The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Guter Gajardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lia Elorduy in the 18th minute of play forced Nietero FC's goalkeeper Bibiano Caneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of GUERREROS F.C. booed when Nietero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordarrol Merchan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bibiano Caneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lia Elorduy in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Lia Elorduy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bibiano Caneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Nietero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nalo Sarri came free, but Bibiano Caneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, one of Nietero FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nietero FC. Lia Elorduy shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Bibiano Caneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nalo Sarri in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seber Luyando in the 41st minute of play forced Nietero FC's goalkeeper Bibiano Caneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seber Luyando in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bibiano Caneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Nalo Sarri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bibiano Caneiro. Nietero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nalo Sarri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lia Elorduy in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bibiano Caneiro saved Nietero FC from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of GUERREROS F.C. booed when Nietero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guter Gajardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nietero FC's Fabian Merodio got a free kick in the 59th minute. Nalo Sarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nietero FC's Bibiano Caneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Nietero FC from getting a goal against them. Nalo Sarri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bibiano Caneiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Nalo Sarri slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 73rd minute. Nalo Sarri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bibiano Caneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Cuarto Lazaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A long shot from Lia Elorduy in the 93rd minute of play was well struck, but Bibiano Caneiro made a really good save at the right post. The Nietero FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GUERREROS F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
